1: cleithrophobia: a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of being enclosed, despite conscious understanding by the phobic individual and reassurance by others that there is no danger. 2: cleithrophobia: an extreme unwarranted fear and/or physical aversion to being enclosed.
